Terms of Service

Welcome to CookBookBite

We’re so glad you’re here! These Terms of Service are the ground rules for using CookBookBite — the boring-but-important bit that keeps everything fair and friendly. By browsing our recipes, leaving comments, or otherwise using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, we completely understand — but please don’t use the site. We’ve written this in plain English, because nobody enjoys reading legalese with their morning coffee.

Using Our Content

Everything on CookBookBite — recipes, photographs, and written content — belongs to us unless stated otherwise, and it’s protected by copyright. Here’s what that means in practice: you’re very welcome to cook our recipes at home, share them with your family, and tell your friends about them (please do!). What you can’t do is republish our recipes or photos on your own website, in a cookbook, or anywhere else without our written permission. If you’d like to feature one of our recipes, just ask — we’re friendly, and we usually say yes as long as there’s a credit and a link back.

Comments and Community

We love hearing from you in the comments! By commenting, you agree to keep things kind and respectful — no spam, no hate speech, no personal attacks, and no posting anyone’s private information. We moderate comments, which means yours might take a little while to appear, and we reserve the right to edit or remove anything that breaks these rules. By posting a comment you give us permission to display it on the site — but it remains yours, and you’re responsible for what you write.

What We Don’t Promise

We work hard to make CookBookBite accurate, helpful, and available — but we can’t promise perfection. Recipes are tested in our home kitchens and results in yours may vary (ovens have personalities, we’ve learned). We don’t guarantee the site will always be up, error-free, or exactly to your taste. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site. For the full picture on recipes and health, please also read our Disclaimer.

Changes and Contact

We may update these terms from time to time as the blog grows — when we do, we’ll post the new version here with a fresh date, and continuing to use the site means you accept the changes. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. And if you have questions about any of this, we’d genuinely love to hear from you — reach us through our Contact Us page. Thanks for cooking with us!
